It was long-lasting and transfer-free, with one tester even noting that she struggled to remove it at the day's end. That said, they were happy with its level of coverage and matte finish, saying it layered nicely with their other beauty products. However, some mentioned that you had to work fast to blend the foundation before it dried on the skin. The testing panel were happy with its smooth liquid texture, noting that a little went a long way.

The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer is available now and if you’re on the hunt for something new to warm up your complexion, that is a bit foncy, and that feels like silk on the skin, then it’s most definitely worth checking out.Our expert make-up artist gave this foundation 4/5 for its full coverage and matte-yet-moisturising finish, which dried quickly. I love using Medium on my eyes too to add definition and it can be used on the body too. This is smooth, buttery, blendable perfection gals. But it does have almost a light reflecting sheen to it, that’s not obvious, but just lifts the complexion. There’s no shimmer with this product which makes it different to the Filmstar Bronze and Glow which has shimmer in the bronzer part.

It’s hard to review a product’s longevity though if you can’t really see it on the skin, hence me buying medium!īehold a before and after of shade Medium of the Airbrush Bronzer! It’s so beautiful on the skin and I love that it has almost a red undertone to it, giving a real “I’ve just been out galavanting in the sun today” look when all it’s done is rain for days and days… Building this up is really easy and it doesn’t go muddy or patchy on me. It’s a little bit more visible in real life, adding the slightest touch of warmth to the skin, and I think it would be better for those with lighter complexions than me. It’s all well and good showing photos on my arm, but it’s time to see them on my skin!Ībove is my skin with no bronzer on the left and then shade Fair of the Airbrush Bronzer on the right. Shade Medium looks fierce heavy in the top photo, but blended out, I knew it was going be grand. Blended out though, it almost disappears on me, but would be a good shade to powder a foundation that was too light and darken it ever so slightly. But stick with me! The inside of my arm is super pale, and I don’t wear fake tan, so you can almost make out Fair on the left in the top photo of the heavy swatch. While you’ll see below how Fair is way too light for me, I thought Medium was going to be way too dark, especially in the pan and on the heavy swatch. Hyaluronic acid helps hydrate the skin and I can sleep well now knowing that the top of my forehead and cheekbones are going to be softer and smoother! If you’re someone who wears bronzer all over the face, then this will be a welcome ingredient, and you can never have too much hyaluronic acid on the skin eh? Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer SwatchesĮven in the pan, there’s a huge difference between shade Fair and Medium, with no other shades in between. The finely milled powder glides onto the skin thanks to the silky mica that’s been treated with amino acids and it basically blends itself, with no patchiness or dragging on the skin. But I’ve spent that much on Charlotte’s eyeshadow palettes over the years and foundations too, and I had high hopes for the bronzer, so didn’t mind shelling out the cash. The Airbrush Bronzer comes in four shades fair, medium, tan and deep and as mentioned above, each retail at an eye-watering price of €50. For full transparency, I bought mine on Cult Beauty because it was the only place it was in stock, but it was €54 as opposed to €50 on the Charlotte Tilbury website which is why I’ve linked that.

So I bought the shade Medium so I could give it a proper trial and then show you both shades together. I was sent the lightest shade, Fair, to test out and quickly realised that it was too light even for me. As the biggest fan of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder, I was ridiculously excited with the recent launch of the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer.
